A third Light Up Lexington event is scheduled for June 24 at Lexington Market. The quarterly evenings feature live entertainment and collaborations between Lexington Market vendors and Baltimore-based restaurants.
The vendor participants on June 24 include Faidley's Seafood, Berger's Bakery, Dudley's Fries, Paul's BBQ, Sausage Master, Park's Fried Chicken and Park's Hamburger. The visiting restaurants include Dooby's, Clementine, Alewife, Pen & Quill, Sobo Cafe, the Corner Pantry and the Local Fry.
Guests at the event will vote for their favorite dishes, all of which will be sold for less than $10.
Musical guests on include Lafayette Gilchrist and the New Volcanoes, featuring special guest Shodekeh, the Ursula Ricks Project and DJ James Nasty. The emcee for the evening is poet and performance artist Femi the DriFish.
