Langermann's on Light closes in South Baltimore

Langermann's on Light, the South Baltimore spin-off of the original Langermann's in Canton, closed on Sunday after a little less than three years of operation.

David McGill, one of the partners in both restaurants, confirmed the closing. The building that housed the casual restaurant is owned by another Langermann's partner, Mark Lasker, who has decided to sell the property, McGill said.

McGill said that he and his partners are currently looking for another location for a spin-off version of Langermann's, which features the Low Country cuisine of chef Neal Langermann, who is also a partner in the business.

The original Langermann's, which opened in December 2009, remains in operation.
