If $22 million a year isn't enough to convince Chris Davis to stay with the Orioles, Jimmy's Famous Seafood is sweetening the pot.

Free crab cakes. For life. For Davis — and his children and his grandchildren.

The East Baltimore restaurant posted on social media Thursday it would offer Davis (and the next two generations of Davises) free crabcakes if the slugger resigns with the Orioles.

"Dear Chris Davis, Please come back to the #Orioles. If you do, free #crabcakes for life. And your kids. And their kids," Jimmy's posted on its Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The Orioles have reportedly offered Davis $150 million over seven years, or $21.42 million annually, to stay with the club. That would make him the highest paid Oriole by about $7 million a year.

The team had not locked down Davis as of Friday morning, but perhaps the Jimmy's offer will help persuade him to stay in Baltimore.
