Iron Rooster will open its third restaurant this week, just in time to catch Black Friday shoppers.
The all-day breakfast and lunch spot is currently undergoing a soft opening and will officially open its doors at the Hunt Valley Towne Centre on Friday.
The 9,900-square-foot space at 50 Shawan Road, previously home to Joe's Crab Shack, will seat 250. The Hunt Valley Iron Rooster is the local chain's largest restaurant yet.
Iron Rooster is known for hearty offerings like chicken and waffles, creative eggs Benedict options like the "Iron Benny" (served with beef tenderloin, caramelized onions, mushrooms and fried leeks); and sweets like homemade pop-tarts.
The opening of the Hunt Valley location also coincides with new fall menu items — including chicken-fried meatloaf, pulled pork sandwiches and cinnamon roll French toast — that are being rolled at Iron Rooster.
Iron Rooster's flagship location opened in Annapolis in 2014, and a second restaurant followed in Canton last year.
The newest location will employ as many as 150 people — double its staff at either of the other restaurants.
The Hunt Valley location will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
