Back in May, Iron Rooster owner Kyle Algaze said that, despite his all-day breakfast eatery's popularity, he was considering making changes based on customer feedback. Next week, he'll prove he was listening.

For the first time, Iron Rooster will introduce two separate Monday-Friday happy hours — the first from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the other from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The new specials will go into effect Tuesday morning.

Recently, I told a friend in Canton my plans to check out the all-day breakfast spot Iron Rooster.

Iron Rooster isn't the first local establishment to offer a morning happy hour, but it is more rare than the typical after-work evening hours. In an email, Algaze said the morning happy hour was aimed toward overnight workers, "specifically those guests that finish their shirt and need a place to relax and unwind."

Specials for the morning happy hour include $5 mimosa, $5 house wines (red and white), half-priced homemade pop tarts and $5 Farmer's Daughter, a blonde ale beer brewed at Mount Airy's Red Shedman Farm Brewery. The afternoon happy hour features $5 house wines (red and white), $5 Raging Rooster Iron Crush, $5 Farmer's Daughter and half-priced appetizers.

The Canton Iron Rooster is Algaze's second location. The first is in Annapolis, but the happy hour deals are only being implemented in Baltimore for now, he said.
