The Horseshoe Casino Baltimore is holding an eating competition on Wednesday to celebrate its newest dining option.
The South Baltimore casino will host a doughnut eating contest at 1 p.m. on the 14Forty stage. The contest coincides with the launch of B'more Chicken & Donuts, a new vendor at the Baltimore Marketplace on the casino's first floor.
Five casino guests who are members of the casino's Total Rewards loyalty club will be chosen to participate in the contest. Guests can register to be considered for the contest between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The winner will take home $1,000 and a year's supply of doughnuts.
B'more Chicken & Donuts will open to the public Wednesday. The eatery will serve combinations of chicken tenders, a variety of doughnuts, waffle fries and chicken sandwiches.
