The owners of Washington's Popped Republic Gourmet Popcorn food truck say that their truck has been stolen. On Friday morning, the popcorn shop owners put this message their Facebook page:

"WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our truck was stolen last night from our shop. Please share this post with your FB and Twitter networks so that we can get as many people as possible looking for the Popped Republic truck."

Popped Republic office manager Rachel Howe confirmed that the truck had gone missing from the parking lot of the company's warehouse and retail location in Alexandria, Va.

The truck has made occasional trips to Baltimore to attend the weekly Friday night food-truck rallies known as The Gathering.
