Not going to Virgin Mobile FreeFest? Here's some counterprogramming for ya. Winks, Weekends, Witches Meet, DJ Max Eisenberg will perform a free show at Johns Hopkins that same night.
The show is part of the Baltimore Curators Series, a student group out of Hopkins that organizes free concerts and talks. Last year's curator, Dope Body, tapped Future Islands, Ecstatic Sunshine, and Rapdragons to perform at the free show.
Weekends, which released "Strange Cultures" this Spring, curated this year's event. In addition, the Copycat Theater's performance group will also appear this year.
The show starts at the Hopkins glass pavilion at 9:30 p.m., probably around the same Cee Lo Green will be appearing at some stage at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The show is free and open to the general public.
The glass pavilion is inside Levering Hall, at 3400 North Charles Street.
