Md. Wineries host market event and tasting in Frederick

In collaboration with local farmers, chefs and wineries, the Maryland Wineries Association is hosting an open-air, market style event on Saturday at Carroll Creek Park in Frederick, from 12-6 pm.

Eat Drink Go LOCAL Frederick will feature agricultural products from area farms and the pairing of local wine, seasonal ingredients and regional chefs.

Entry into Eat Drink Go LOCAL Frederick is free of charge, and attendees can shop the market and enjoy chef cooking demonstrations throughout the day. For $15, event attendees can purchase a "Tasting Pass," which includes a stemless glass and samples of local wine.

Attendees can upgrade to the "Food and Wine Pairing Pass," which includes the benefits of the Tasting Pass and pairings of selected seasonal ingredients and wine, and a reusable 6-bottle wine carrier––good for carrying wine and produce!
