Trucks announced for Taste of Two Cities food truck competition

The organizers of the Taste of Two Cities food truck competition and festival have announced a preliminary line-up of trucks attending the festival. The second annual Baltimore vs. Washington food-truck competition is Saturday at Rash Field at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

The Baltimore trucks include:

Busia's Kitchen - traditional Polish fare
Charm City Gourmet - gourmet cafe menu
Chicken 'n' Waffles - wings, subs and the house specialty, chicken and waffles
Cruisin' Cafe - burgers, marinated chicken, specialty fries
El Cuervo - tacos and Korean fried chicken
Darua - Brazilian specialties
Flavor Cupcakery - cupcakes
The Great Cookie - oversized cookies
GrrChe - gourmet grilled cheese
Gypsy Queen - gourmet cafe menu
Iced Gems - cupcakes
The Jolly Pig - barbecue
Kommie Pig - barbecue
Philly Mignon - steak frites
Miss Shirley's -gourmet cafe menu
Miss Twist - soft ice cream
Souper Freak - soup and sandwiches
South Carolina BBQ - pulled pork, brisket and other barbecue
The Sultan - Indian specialties
Wheyich - artisanal cheesy sandwiches


The Washington trucks include:

Cajunators - Cajun and Creole specialties
Carnivoire - pulled pork, smoked chicken and other barbecue specialties
DC Ballers - hummus, falafel and fries
Feeling Crabby - crab sandwiches and sliders
El Floridano - gourmet soups and sandwiches
Lemongrass - Vietnamese cuisine
Popped Republic - gourmet popcorn
Porc - smoked brisket, pulled pork and other barbecue specialties
Something Stuffed - empanadas, dumplings and soups
MOJO Truck - Uruguayan chivito sandwiches
Red Hook Lobster Pound - lobster roll, shrimp roll and whoopie pies
Rito Loco -burritos served on toasted tortillas
Sang on Wheels - Laotian/Asian Fusion
That Cheesecake Truck - miniature cheesecakes


A Taste of Two Cities is noon to 9 p.m. June 1 at Rash Field in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Admission is $5 in advance, $8 at the event, and free for children under 12. For more information, go to tasteoftwocities.com.
