Toki Underground chef Erik Bruner-Yang is returning to Baltimore for another temporary restaurant takeover.

Bruner-Yang, whose "Tokifact" collaboration at Artifact Coffee back in January helped to launch that Hampden restaurant's series of collaborative dinners, is coming to Shoo-Fly Diner for a week-long residency on the restaurant's lower level.

Bruner-Yang will be joined at Shoo-Fly by Will Sharp, who is not a chef. Sharp is the founder of the clothing brand Durkl.

Bruner-Yang's menu will feature noodle bowls and Asian small plates, while Sharp will be setting up shop with Durkl's winter clothing and accessory line.

The weeklong food-plus-retail event is being presented as part of the Maketto Holiday Tour.

And what, or who, is Maketto, you ask? Maketto is "a communal marketplace and lifestyle brand located in Washington combining retail, restaurant and cafe" that is opening soon in Washington.

So, to recap. Erik Bruner-Yang and Will Sharp will be at Shoo-Fly Diner Dec. 1-15 as part of the Maketto Holiday Tour.

Space is limited for Bruner-Yang's menu, and diners will be taken on a first come, first-served basis. Shoo-Fly's regular menu will be available on the restaurant's upper levels.
