Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, the restaurant chain with roots in upstate New York, is opening in Baltimore on September 22. In Fells Point to be exact.
The nationally acclaimed eatery known for its homemade dishes, sauces and rubs, will operate at 1401 Fleet St., which is in the Union Marketplace development.
The Baltimore location, which will seat 220 people, will feature a number of new dishes that reflect its new Maryland digs.
The new spot will offer "local and regional craft beer and vibrant atmosphere," according to the restaurant's website.
Baltimore marks the company's 10th restaurant and southern-most location. In 2009, the company was named best barbecue in the country on Good Morning America. It has also been featured on Food Network and Travel Channel shows. The company's spice rub and specialty sauces are available in grocery stores throughout the country.
