Creed will be performing at the Warner Theater in Washington April 24, it was announced Tuesday. The band will be performing "Human Clay," their insanely successful second album, in its entirety, front to back, according to the press release.
Tickets, starting $45, go on sale Friday. Save for Scott Stapp's pukey rendition of the national anthem at a Florida Marlins game two years ago, Creed has mainly stayed quiet in recent years. Their last album was released in 2009.
Also on the road, the band that gave us "Non-Dairy Creamer." Third Eye Blind will be performing at Rams Head Live February 6. Tickets, at $35, go on sale Friday.
The band is promoting, presumably, its back catalog. Its last release was a free download in support of Occupy Wall Street, probably the most relevant thing the band had done in years. Their last album was also released in 2009.
The Ting Tings, the unapologetically poppy dance duo, will also be performing at Rams Head in 2012, on April 14.
The band, known for earworms "Great DJ" and "That's Not My Name," is promoting new album, "Sounds from Nowheresville." Tickets, at $25, are on sale Friday.
Coming up at the Ottobar is the goth rock trio Rasputina. The band will perform April 13. Tickets go on sale Friday; price is not yet available. The band released its last album in 2010, and a compilation last year.
