The online auction for Center Stage concludes on Sunday. Hundreds of goods, services and experiences are up for bid including about 100 in the Wine & Dine category
The high-ticket item in the Wine & Dine category is the Restaurant Dining Card for a Year for the Crazy Man Restaurant Group, which comprises Miss Shirley's, S'ghetti Eddies and the Roland Park Bagel Company. The high bidder will have $75 a week to spend at one of those restaurants each week. That's a $4,000 value, and the high bid on Saturday at 2 p.m. was only $900. There is a catch, though. You have to use the $75 all at once, and if you spend short of $75 you can't carry over the difference to next week.
Other auction items include a gift pack of Mallow Crunchies, a rum tasting and dinner for 10 at the new Mutiny Pirate Bar & Grill, a sushi and sake party from Wegman's and an at-home wine tasting for 12 from Iron Bridge Wine Company, which had a high bid of $900 for a $2,000 value with just over 24 hours left to go.
Bidding for the Center Stage auction items closes in waves on Sunday, at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
