Carly Rae Jepsen, The Wanted to perform at Maryland State Fair

UPDATE (June 10): Mainstream rockers Three Days Grace will perform at the Maryland State Fair on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m, according to a press release. Gold Circle Assigned Seating tickets are $40 while general admission tickets are $30. Tickets are on sale now here.

Grammy-nominated pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen and British boy band The Wanted will perform at the Maryland State Fair on Aug. 25. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Maryland State Fair Racetrack Infield, rain or shine; gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $39 (general admission) and $80 (assigned seating) and include fair admission; they're on sale now at missiontix.com.

Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" exploded into popularity in spring 2012, remaining No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks. The singer has gone on to collaborate with artists like Owl City and Justin Bieber.

English-Irish boy band The Wanted released its debut self-titled album in 2010. The group's hit "Glad You Came" earned the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Maryland State Fair
runs Aug. 23 through Sept. 2 at the Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium.
