Blue Moon Too will join its sister restaurant in Food Network fame when the Federal Hill cafe is featured on the TV network this weekend.
The breakfast spot will appear on a Saturday episode of the Food Network show "Guilty Pleasures." The episode is set to air at 7 a.m.
Titled "Deep-Fried Decadence," the episode will highlight Blue Moon's Sweet Baby Jesus, a dish of hash browns topped with jumbo lump crabmeat, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, two eggs and house hollandaise sauce.
As the name suggests, the show focuses on dishes that are guilty pleasures of Food Network stars.
Baltimore's Duff Goldman picked the Sweet Baby Jesus at Blue Moon Too, as well as the restaurant's scrapple.
Blue Moon Too owner Sarah Simington said Food Network crews spent a day filing at the restaurant in early October. It's the first time the restaurant, which opened in September, has appeared on the Food Network.
"It should be a really fun episode," Simington said.
The original Blue Moon Cafe in Fells Point garnered attention after its Cap'n Crunch French toast was featured on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" in 2008. That restaurant will celebrate 20 years in business in August.
