(Matt Roth, Patuxent Publishing)

The 9:30 Club, one of Washington's most prominent concert venues, won the Billboard Touring Award for Top Club Thursday night in New York City.

The award is based on attendance. This is the third win in a row for the 9:30 Club, according to Audrey Schaefer, spokeswoman for the club.

moe. plays two shows, Friday and Saturday, at the 9:30 Club. Fitz and the Tantrums will play a sold-out show on Sunday.
