Entering its third year, the electronic dance music-heavy Moonrise Festival is set to return to Pimlico Race Course on Aug. 6-7.

Released late last month, the initial lineup announcement included three headliners from the EDM festival scene: Bassnectar, Tiesto and Zedd. Other acts include Bro Safari, Excision, Flosstradamus, Flux Pavilion and more. For the full "Phase 1" lineup, click here.

As was the case in previous years, Moonrise also has a couple of notable rap artists on the bill. Tyler, the Creator of Odd Future fame and Young Thug are scheduled to perform.

A second lineup announcement of additional performers will come in "late May," according to the Moonrise Festival Facebook page.

The Moonrise Festival was supposed to debut in 2013 at Port Covington, but it was canceled due to lack of permits. In 2014, the festival debuted at Pimlico Race Course, and it returned to the same location last year with headliners Bassnectar and Above & Beyond.
