Some people just can't wait two whole months for Baltimore Beer Week. And by some people I mean the impatient organizers of the event.
On Wednesday, they're holding an early kickoff party for what will be Baltimore Beer Week's third year.
The event's organizing committee will be holding court at Max's Taphouse in Fells starting at 6 p.m. There will be a screening of the film "Brewed on the Bay," and a ticket giveaway to Baltimore Beer Week's opening tap event.
This year's Baltimore Beer Week begins October 6.
Last year's event took place in October and 65-odd local bars and breweries hosting some 300 events revolving around beer culture. A preview of that event is here.
