The Bagby Restaurant Group announced today that the first location of its new quick-service Bagby Pizza brand will be at the Festival of Woodholme shopping center in Pikesville. The new restaurant will open within the first months of 2015 in the former Lexington Lady location.

The Bagby Restaurant Group says it will launch a quick-service version of its thin-crust pizza brand in 2015. The company says it is finalizing lease details on three Baltimore-area locations for the new concept, which will feature both a standard and customizable menus.

The expansion plans were made public to the media in a press announcement from Baltimore-based Bagby, whose restaurants include Fleet Street Kitchen, Ten Ten American Bistro and Bagby Pizza Co. in Harbor East and Cunningham's in Towson.

Bagby also announced that Chris Becker, formerly chief operations officer, is now its chief executive officer. Becker remains the group's corporate executive chef. Also, Blake Smith, the son of owner David Smith, has been appointed president and partner of Bagby's pizza brand.
