The second in the new speaker series at Artifact Coffee is Thursday night. The topic this time is “Maryland Produce: Who Grows it and Consumes It.”
The panelists are One Straw Farm owners Joan and Drew Norman and Baltimore City Food Policy Director Holly Freishtat. Origins, as the series is known, is presented by Foodshed, the Baltimore-based restaurant group behind Woodberry Kitchen.
The evening, which is hosted by Foodshed's Spike Gjerde, will begin with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by the speaker and Q-and-A part of the of the evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. A themed supper will follow. Tickets for the event are $80. Click here for details.
