Chef Spike Gjerde is teaming up with New York chef Danny Newberg to host a collaborative dinner series on Wednesday and Thursday night at two of Gjerde's Baltimore restaurants.

Newberg, previously the chef at New York establishments Momofuku Ko and Estela, heads Joint Venture NYC, a "nomadic restaurant" that travels to other venues to put on collaborative meals. Newberg will host his first Joint Venture events in Baltimore at Artifact Coffee and Parts & Labor.

The first dinner, on Wednesday night at Artifact (1500 Union Ave.), will center on wood-fired local fish and fall vegetables. Thursday's dinner at Parts & Labor (2600 N. Howard St.) will focus on pasture-raised meats.

Both events run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Reservations are not required, and all menu items will be offered a la carte. Beverage pairings will also be available.
