Have a new kitten in the family? Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Help is here -- the Maryland SPCA will host Kitten Kindergarten on Sundays through the fall to help new kitty owners and their feline friends get adjusted.

Kitten Kindergarten will run on Sundays from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, and cover three topics:

Visiting the Vet, including nail trims, medications, and more, Sunday, Sept. 22.

Minding Manners, including come and sit commands, Sunday Sept. 8 and 29

Road Warriors, including how to use carriers, Sunday Sept. 15.

Each class will also include fun and games, toys to save your sanity, and social hour/meeting new people and animals. Bring the whole family, including your kitten. Classes are $10 each and advance registration is requested. For more information, visit mdspca.org or call 410-235-8826.
