Ace is a very special dog. He was found at another animal control department suffering from severe glaucoma. His eyes had so much pressure behind them that they were literally being pushed out their sockets. In spite of this, he was so friendly and never stopped wagging his tail. The SPCA vet determined there was not much to do to save his eyes, and he had basically lost his sight a while ago. The only way to stop the pain was to extract both eyes. He has recovered quickly, and you would never know this dog couldn't see. He is brave, courageous and a constant reminder of what animals are capable of. Ace has been an inspiration to us at the shelter and if you come to meet him he will melt your heart.
