Located near Crofton and Bowie, this cheerful roadside attraction changed hands a few years back. Fat Boy's is now owned by the people who run Edgewater's Yellowfin restaurant. Crabs are steamed "exhibition-style" on the back porch, which extends into a copse of mature shade trees. Last time I visited, the crabs were extra heavy and served piping hot. Orders are given, and paid for, at the inside counter. But the super-friendly staff brings them out to you. It feels like you're hosting your own party.
