Baltimore's Little Italy is home to the new Kohler Signature Store, a first of its kind for Maryland.
The outlet's grand opening will be held Saturday.
Kohler, maker of high-end fixtures for bathrooms and kitchens, has opened several similar showrooms around the country but the store at 300 Albemarle St. in downtown Baltimore is the only one in the Mid-Atlantic.
Thos. Somerville Co., a retailer of plumbing supplies based in Upper Marlboro, is the owner of the 6,200-square-foot store that will showcase high-tech toilets, digital showers, artisan fixtures and more.
Cheryl Crowther, showroom director for Thos. Somerville Co., said the store will supply "everything from inspiration to delivery of products."
