Michelle Obama wears designer Christian Siriano at the Democratic National Convention

Christian Siriano always wanted first lady Michelle Obama to wear one of his dresses.Last night in Philadelphia -- while she delivered a speech for the ages -- FLOTUS did just that.&quot;It is an incredible honor to have such an amazing woman wear one of my creations,&quot; Siriano said in an email to The Baltimore Sun shortly after Obama delivered her speech. &quot;I am in such awe.&quot;Obama not only brought the crowd to its feet during arguably one of the night's most well-received speeches, she did it in style in Siriano's cap-sleeve, royal blue fit-and-flare dress.First Lady Michelle Obama addresses the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Monday.The 30-year-old Siriano, an Annapolis native, continues to be a fan favorite of celebrities.And with his biggest client yet -- the always stylish FLOTUS -- he's showing no signs of letting up.Siriano, who won the fourth season of &quot;Project Runway&quot; in 2008, told The Sun in 2012 for a magazine story that it was his hope to dress Obama, who is known for wearing American designers. Now he's done it twice -- in the same month.In Dallas earlier this month, Obama wore a black lace Siriano dress to the funeral of five police officers killed by a sniper.Both dresses were custom.Siriano recently made news after he stepped in to design a dress for actress Leslie Jones, who took to social media to complain that no designer would dress her for the premiere of &quot;Ghostbusters.&quot;Siriano, who is experienced dressing an array of body types, volunteered to dress the &quot;Saturday Night Live&quot; cast member. The gown he designed, an off-the-shoulder red dress with a high slit up the leg, was a sartorial success.What's perhaps most impressive is that Siriano also found time to marry his longtime boyfriend, Brad Walsh, the same weekend of Jones' debut.
