Lucky did not immediately return requests seeking comment.

Chen previously announced that she would exit the magazine this summer to spend time with her daughter Ren, who was born in December.

When reached by email Wednesday, Chen declined to comment on the magazine's recent changes because she was "no longer with Lucky" and was on maternity leave.

When Chen was interviewed by The Sun following the announcement of her departure from the publication, her dedication to the magazine was unwavering.

"I do love the Lucky brand, and will feel a fierce loyalty to the brand," Chen said.
