Branch and her sister, Miko Branch, grew their beauty empire by focusing on curly hair and launching a line of styling products from their Curve Salon in Brooklyn, N.Y. The duo named the line Miss Jessie's, after their beloved grandmother.
The products, with catchy names such as Baby Buttercreme, Crème de la Curl and Curly Pudding, are now sold in national retailers such as Target, Walgreens and Walmart and have been featured widely in magazines including Essence, Allure, Lucky and Elle.
The Queens, N.Y., native held a variety of jobs before gloing into business with her sister and launching Miss Jessie's.
