Allen Edmonds, the men's shoe, clothing and accessories manufacturer, will open a 1,300-square-foot shop in Harbor East early this summer.
The new store will be located at 635 S. President St., in the former Starbucks space between the Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites and Landmark movie theater.
Allen Edmonds began handcrafting shoes on the Wisconsin shores of Lake Michigan in 1922. There are 60 company-owned Allen Edmonds stores nationwide. This will be the company's first brick-and-mortar store in Maryland.
The addition of Allen Edmonds means that Harbor East will have another shopping destination for men, after Brooks Brothers opened in early March. Eyeware retailer Warby Parker is scheduled to open in April.
