Kevin Bacon eats a 'Kevin Bacon' in Annapolis; jams on yacht

Kevin Bacon spent his weekend doing what you do in Annapolis -- sailing and eating good food.

The actor was in town to perform Friday at Rams Head On Stage with his brother, Michael.  The pair began touring as "The Bacon Brothers" nearly two decades ago.

On Saturday, the brothers and other band members hopped on a yacht from Annapolis Yacht Sales with WRNR DJ Alex Cortwright.

The group sailed from the yacht store's dock to Bembe Beach near Chesapeake Harbor, where they dropped anchor. The band performed in the sailboat's salon and recorded an interview with Cortwright, according to store employee Stacey DeChant.

The following morning, Bacon stopped by the Annapolis location of Sofi's Crepes to eat his namesake crepe -- a savory mix of turkey, cheese, tomatoes, ranch dressing, and, of course, bacon.

"He walked in incognito in his hat and sunglasses on," said Stephanie Barba, owner of the crepery's Annapolis location. "No one noticed him."

Barba pulled Bacon behind the register to show him how to make a Kevin Bacon. Once the star removed his hat and sunglasses, customers recognized him and asked to pose for photographs, Barba said, adding that Bacon "couldn't have been nicer."

Bacon's assistants had already arranged with Barba for the weekend's proceeds from sales of the Kevin Bacon crepe to go to his charity, Six Degrees, which uses social networking to help raise money for nonprofits.

The organization is named after the old game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, which supposedly proved that everyone in Hollywood was fewer than six connections away from the actor.

After this weekend, lots of Annapolitans will find they, too, are quite a few degrees closer to Bacon.
