'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' auditions set for Towson

The latest incarnation of the venerable game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," with Cedric the Entertainer as host, will be in Towson Thursday looking for contestants.

Auditions are set for 2 p.m.-7 p.m. at Towson University's West Village Commons, 424 Emerson Drive. A timed multiple-choice test will be administered, and those who pass it will be interviewed by one of the show's producers.

The day's last audition session, set for 7 p.m., will be for a special edition of the show, "By the Decade," focusing on trivia of the '70s, '80s, '90s or 2000s. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed to audition for each decade.

The show is looking to audition as many people as possible. Prospective contestants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the U.S. Other eligibility requirements can be found here.

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on WBAL, Channel 11.
