An accident on Interstate 895 before Exit 12 has closed all southbound lanes, the state Department of Transportation said on its website Monday evening.

All traffic is being detoured onto the Moravia Road (Exit 14) because of the four-vehicle accident, the agency said about 6:30 p.m.
