"He was adorable and very sweet," Brittany recalled. "My mom was actually the one to point him out to me and said 'Look at him, he's cute!'"

The two stuck up a conversation and sparks flew. Brittany visited Rodolfo every two to three months after the two met.

"We fell in love on my second trip, in May 2014," Brittany recalled. "It was on my last night. We were whizzing through traffic, kissing on the back of a [motorcycle] in the misty rain, and in that moment of recklessness, I had no fear. All I felt was love and the scary thought that he was the one."

He moved to Maryland in December 2015.

The couple went out for a walk at night to the neighboring resort. He got down on one knee in front of the resort's water fountain and asked her to marry him.

"It was the happiest moment of my life," Brittany said.

Venue: One hundred and sixty-five guests attended the ceremony at First and Franklin Presbyterian Church in Baltimore and the reception at Tabrizi's.

Flowers and décor: Sharon Erdman, from "E" Events and Wedding Floral Studio, provided the flowers. The colors for bridesmaids' flowers — such as blue hydrangeas, coral and peach roses, and lavender stock— were bright and vibrant to make their dresses "pop." The bride's flowers were classic ivory for a soft, elegant look.

Her dress: Brittany wore an A-line dress with an illusion back and beaded bodice in soft white from David's Bridal. The dress was the first one that she tried on.

"I just knew it was the one at first sight," she said.
