Dozens of museums offering free admission Saturday as part of 'Museum Day Live'

Close to 20 Baltimore-area museums will waive admission Saturday as part of "Museum Day Live."

Hosted by Smithsonian magazine, the day of free admission is celebrated at museums across the country.

Baltimore-area museums participating in the initiative include: the B&O Railroad Museum, Baltimore Lithuanian Museum, Baltimore Museum of Industry, Baltimore Streetcar Museum, Evergreen Museum & Library, Homewood Museum, Irish Railroad Workers Museum, Jewish Museum of Maryland (which will be offering free admission on Sunday, since it is closed on Saturdays), Maryland Historical Society, National Museum of Dentistry, Reginald F. Lewis Museum of African-American History and Culture, and the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House and Museum
