Rep. John Sarbanes, his father former Sen. Paul Sarbanes and members of the Stoop Storytelling Series will gather next month for a tribute and a night of tales about former Sen. Barbara Mikulski, according to a recent press release.

The tribute to the Highlandtown native and longest-serving female in Congress will take place at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Senator Theatre and will benefit Emerge Maryland, an organization that trains Democratic women for office.

Doors open at 7 p.m. with a VIP reception starting at 6 p.m. at the Senator Theatre, 5904 York Road. Tickets are $50-$10,000 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
