Remington to host inaugural neighborhood festival 'Remfest' this May

Hampden, Fells Point, Charles Village and Pigtown all have neighborhood festivals. This summer, Remington is joining the club.

Remfest, a one-day festival featuring local music, food, and arts and crafts, will debut May 12, with sponsors including Union Craft Brewing (their official beer vendor), Charmington’s, and The Old Market Barbers. A lineup of other vendors and entertainment is to be announced, according to the festival’s official website.

The Greater Remington Improvement Association, the community group that is organizing the festival, did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Baltimore Sun, but according to the GRIA website, the organization is now accepting applications for local talent and vendors for the festival.
