Netflix releases new trailer for Spike Lee's series 'She's Gotta Have It'

Battling the double standards that women face when it comes to their sexuality isn't an easy task, but Nola Darling doesn't let it get her down, as seen in Netflix's newest trailer for Spike Lee's upcoming series "She's Gotta Have It."

The recent trailer for the series, based on Lee's 1986 film, reveals glimpses of Baltimore actress DeWanda Wise as Darling, as the main character unabashedly navigates her dating life, with three persistent and very different suitors.

But will she choose the loud and youthful Mars Blackmon, the narcissistic model Greer Childs, the polite and earnest Jamie Overstreet, or herself? Viewers who have watched the original film might already know the answer, but with the original movie — nearly an hour and a half — stretched into 10 episodes who knows how this story will end.

We'll all have to wait until the premiere date — Nov. 23 — to find out.
