Marinella Hume Casting, the casting company that has worked with “House of Cards,” is hosting a casting call through photo submissions for several non-speaking roles in a “popular political drama.”
In an email sent Monday with the subject line “HOC CASTING FEATURED EXTRA ROLES,” the company listed the feature roles, which included waitstaff, a personal driver and an aide that hands a phone to “a principal actor.” There are also roles to fill for children, including a group of 12-year-old girls, a 6-year-old boy and his family, and a child running across the grass.
The potential film dates, according to an email from the company, is Feb. 14 through Feb. 27.
Though the email doesn’t specifically mention “House of Cards,” the abbreviation “HOC” is a good hint.
Calling all real and aspiring firefighters — Marinella Hume Casting, which has worked with the “House of Cards” production in the past, is hosting a casting call today in Owings Mills, and they’re looking for people to step into the first responder role, according to a recent Facebook post.
