Was this a subtle message to Hillary Clinton or just some spontaneous folksiness?
Martin O'Malley recently picked up his guitar and sang the famous Woody Guthrie song "This Land Is Your Land" to the New Hampshire Young Democrats in Nashua. He invited the crowd to sing along, but they seemed more interested in recording the performance on their phones.
We don't know if Maryland's former governor was sending the message that this land was made for you and me and anyone else who wants to run, but he has recently been slightly more assertive in his tone toward Clinton, the presumed front-runner in the race for the Democratic nomination for president.
Speaking on ABC's "This Week" show on Sunday, he said: "Let's be honest here, the presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families."
