Obama jabs at O'Malley at White House Correspondents' Dinner

President Obama singled out former Gov. Martin O'Malley in a roast of potential 2016 candidates at Saturday night's White House Correspondents' Dinner.

The president mentioned that Hillary Clinton recently went unnoticed while getting lunch at an Ohio Chipotle before a campaign stop, according to CNN.

"Not to be outdone, Martin O'Malley kicked things off by going completely unrecognized at a Martin O'Malley campaign event," Obama said.

The annual gala's headliner, Saturday Night Live comedian Cecily Strong, also took a jab at the former governor's presidential campaign.

His slogan is “Don’t forget about Martin O’Malley,” she quipped, Vanity Fair reported.

At least one person in attendance is supporting our data-driven Irish rock band leader in his quest for the White House.
"I’m for Martin O’Malley,” actor Timothy Simons of HBO's Veep told Bloomberg's Mark Halperin.
O'Malley praised Veep, which is filmed in Baltimore, calling it the "most realistic political show on television."
Perhaps  he could snag a role on the show if his presidential ambitions don't pan out.
