John Waters' Christmas cards are legendary. There was a year he sent a mug shot of himself. Another year, it was an ornament containing a fake cockroach.
But in 2014, he might have outdone himself.
This years' card is an elaborate Advent card. A wholesome family Christmas scene opens up to reveal some of Waters' cultural preoccupations. We've taken photos of the first ten days of the card. Some of the hidden faces belong to cultural icons; others are a little more mysterious.
In an interview this week, Waters declined to give more details about the card. See if you can name all of the people shown.
