Way to go, Dana.
Dana Ness, a bartender at Ale Mary's in Fells Point, was the big winner on Wednesday's "The Price Is Right," walking away from the CBS game show with an iPhone 6, a hot tub, a margarita maker, a home gym and a boat.
Dozens of her best friends crowded into the bar Wednesday morning to watch her appearance. Ness had been careful not to reveal what happened in advance, said fellow bartender Beth Cermak. By the time it was all over and she had won the final showcase (which included the boat and home gym), Ale Mary's was one deliriously happy bar.
"It was awesome," said Cermak. "The entire community was here; people were five deep at the bar. It was rowdy, and it was hilarious. There were mimosas all around."
According to a spokeswoman for the show, Ness started off by winning the iPhone 6. She then won playing the clock game, where her prizes included a digital smoker along with the margarita maker and hot tub. In the show-closing showcase, her bidding acumen won her a hammock, along with the home gym and boat. Her total winnings came to over $39,000.
Sounds like, for Ness at least, 2015 could have a tough time living up to 2014.
