Nice to see that singer Demi Lovato did more while she was in town than just wow 'em from the Baltimore Arena stage Saturday night.

Lovato, who kicked off her first world tour with a concert at the arena Saturday night, also paid a visit to the National Aquarium while she was in town.

Aquarium officials confirm that she stopped by with a group that included her dad. They spent about an hour among the fish and other animals. She was particularly enamored of the sharks, and in fact bought a shark hat (check out the photo for how cool it looked) and wore it throughout her visit.

The aquarium then sent out a tweet, borrowing a photo from Lovato's Instagram account of the former "X Factor" judge and her father and thanking her for stopping by.

"We are always thrilled to welcome celebrities at the National Aquarium," spokeswoman Kate Rowe said Sunday. "It's a wonderful reminder that the aquatic world is something that inspires everyone."

Looks like Lovato enjoyed her stay in Charm City. And sounds like the concert went off without a hitch. She said of Saturday's concert, via Twitter, "Wow wow wow wow wow....... Unbelievable night.. Going to bed with tears in my eyes because I'm so happy."
