Single women far outnumber single men, and dining out and seeing a movie is affordable, the study's author's say.

Baltimore trails Boston, Washington, D.C. and Philly as the best city for all singles, male and female, according to the study.
The average date -- which the study defines as a dinner at a mid-priced restaurant and two movie tickets-- costs $70 in Baltimore, less than the other cities, said Shannon Colin, a marketing analyst for Nerdwire.
But the big advantage for men comes down to the gender ratio.
There are 125 single women for every 100 single men in Baltimore. That's much better than the national average-- 111 women for every 100 men.
So guys, it's time to get off the couch and ask a lady to a mid-priced restaurant and a movie. What could be more romantic!
