The Baltimore Speakers Series, presented by Stevenson University, returns this October with another season of personalities and international notables, including former British Prime Minister David Cameron, astronaut Mark Kelly, and Jane Pauley, anchor of CBS' "Sunday Morning," according to a recent press release.
The seven-part speaker series for 2017 to 2018, which will be hosted at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, will kick off on Oct. 3 with Cameron, and will go on to feature presentations with Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Jon Meacham, award-winning journalist and foreign affairs analyst Robin Wright, and European travel guide and TV host Rick Steves, and former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.
The season will close with award-winning National Geographic photographer Paul Nicklen, who is known for capturing wildlife and the effects of climate change in the polar region. Each session will conclude with a question and answer session with audience members.
Tickets for the series range in price from $295 to $435 and must be purchased as a subscription. No individual tickets are offered.
