Baltimore School for the Arts alum graces VMAs stage during Beyonce performance

Sunday night was a special night for the "beyhive" as Beyonce performed a solid sampling of her latest music project, "Lemonade," at MTV's Video Music Awards show. Baltimore School for the Arts was rejoicing for another reason.

Dancer Aubree Brown, a BSA alumna, took part in Beyonce's performance, appearing on stage during a portion of the 15-plus-minute medley.

The school celebrated their former student's accomplishment on their Facebook page yesterday in a post with a picture showing Brown in formation near Beyonce, noting, "Hope you didn't miss last night's VMA's- Beyoncé killed it! And so did #BSAalum Aubree Brown--who shared the stage with Queen Bey. #MTV #VMAS2016 #Beyonce."

Brown was not immediately available to comment for this article Tuesday.

Oh, and Brown wasn't the only former Baltimorean to take the stage at the VMAs. Michael Phelps was there, too.
