Towson University's funniest alum is coming back to Baltimore, and this time you won't need a connection to the university to see her.
Amy Schumer, star of stage (concert appearances, like this one), screen (last year's "Trainwreck" grossed over $110 million at the U.S. box office) and TV (Comedy Central's Emmy-winning "Inside Amy Schumer"), will be embarking on a 50-city world tour in August.
The tour includes a Nov. 12 show in Baltimore, at Royal Farms Arena. The show is set for 8 p.m. Tickets, priced at $39-$109, go on sale to the general public tomorrow at 10 a.m. She will also be at Verizon Center in D.C. on Sept. 23.
Schumer, a member of the Towson University Class of '03, last appeared in the area April 10, at a show celebrating her alma mater's 150th anniversary. Admission, however, was limited to Towson students, faculty, staff and alumni.
