Amy Schumer may be a superstar now, but she wasn't so confident back in her early days at Towson University — where she was "maybe in the twenty-fifth percentile in hotness," the comedian told Vogue magazine.
Schumer graces the cover of this month's issue of Vogue; the accompanying article touches on her experience at Towson, which writer Jonathan Van Meter describes as "a rowdy state school of 18,000 that regularly shows up in rankings of 'hottest college girls.'"
"I lost all my self-esteem freshman year," Schumer said. "And then in my sophomore year, I probably had sex with six guys, and I was like, Maybe I'm like Samantha in 'Sex and the City' and I'll just keep this train movin' so that I don't get attached to anybody."
Schumer acknowledged that her strategy, shockingly, did not work out. But we can only assume it gave her fodder for her memoir, "The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo," which is set to be released in August.
