Last night, the Baltimore Country Club's Independence Day Celebration featured rides, a United Service Organization performance, a fireworks show, and Jim Gaffigan.
In a show of patriotism, with a healthy dose of little-kid-cuteness, Gaffigan tweeted a photo of his 4-year-old son saluting USO performers, as they honored the country's servicemen and women.
Gaffigan, the stand-up comedian known for his Comedy Central special, books and focus on food-related humor, attended the event as a guest with his family.
Several of Gaffigan's social media posts focused on the Fourth of July celebration, including a warning from his son before they'd arrived: "'Remember don't dance, dad.' - my 4 year old son as we approach an Independence Day party," he tweeted.
